GAS Prices... A touchy subject - 2008/05/27 22:35
Okay... I gotta get some input on a verrry touchy subject.
Now please lets not get nasty about this subject ,everyone has their own opinion.
By now it has been obvious that this whole gas price increase is really putting the squeeze on all of us.
Did you ever really, I mean really think what was behind all of this?
If you listen to the white house they said it plain as day on a news conference the other day.
Simple stated if we explored and drilled in America, all of our energy problems would be solved.
What they were really talking about was drilling in Anwar, Alaska.
You know that protected place where we have such an abundance of Polar Bears.
You see they say that companies that need more profit like Exxon, and the like, could drill there and not even leave a footprint.
Well I guess with that kind of guarantee, we should have them drill and we would have more than enough oil, heck we could probably be paying oh...Say .50 a gallon. Exxon would not raise their prices, and still be happy with a small profit, and life would be good!
Almost sounds like a fairytale.
Surprise... ITS NOT.
So to make a long story... a little shorter.
If they squeeze us hard enough with high gas prices,increased food cost, and any other thing that we need and depend on....
Well , we'll findly say UNCLE!
So I posted this... Just to get people's opinion about this, whether they believe it or not.
It's just a way to get people to speak up for themselves, and to learn to communicate with each other.
Sooo Don't shoot the message poster....
Just absorb it, and give us your two cents.
